Sauce For the Cloned Big Mac Burger

Standard

Yesterday I posted about making the cloned Big Mac Burger and a recipe for homemade hamburger buns.  Today the sauce recipe, which I got from a website and can’t, for the life of me, remember the name.  Such a terrible thing when your mind goes, isn’t it?  It was something like 3 Tomatoes or 12 Tomatoes.  As I said before, the sauce is amazing and proven to be excellent on the burgers and on leftover roasted chicken sandwiches.  We both like it a lot.

Sauce for Burgers and/or Sandwiches

Mix the following in a small microwaveable bowl:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp French dressing
  • 1/2 Tbsp sweet relish
  • 2 tsp dill pickle relish
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

After mixture is thoroughly combined, microwave for 25 seconds and stir again.  Refrigerate for 1 hour before burgers are grilled.

To assemble burgers use:  shredded lettuce, minced or thinly sliced onion, tomato, cheese, and sauce.  Toast buns, then assemble.  The directions say to use 2 meat patties, 2 slices cheese, 2 tomato slices, and 1 & 1/2 buns.  Assemble 1/2 of all on bottom of bun, add bun half, assemble other half of all, and top with bun top.  Knowing that we would not be able to eat all that bun and meat patties, etc.. we just used 1 bun and assembled the 1 meat patty with 1 slice of cheese, etc. to make a single layer burger.  It was great!  I hope you try this sauce and burger and enjoy it as much as we did.  We will make this again.

Sorry, forgot to take a picture.  There’s none left or I would go take one.
